Blog: Featured finalist - Luke Page - Willmott Dixon

G4C Future Leader

Position held: Construction Manager

Luke started his career in the construction industry a relatively short time ago after leaving the armed forces in 2009 and joining Willmott Dixon as an Assistant Building Manager, during which time he became involved in some of the businesses more challenging projects, using his leadership skills to bring teams together to ensure that projects were delivered successfully to the client.

In 2015, Luke was appointed project lead on an £18m office development for Surrey County Council, which ultimately led to securing the project Nexus, a £40m flight simulator and production facility for the aviation industry. Because of hard work invested and the relationship he had built up with the client and the supply chain, Luke was asked to stay on and lead the project with his team.

Luke has shown he is able to build up trust and understanding between the client and the supply chain to understand what their drivers and boundaries are, ensuring that whatever challenges, they trust him to work towards a collaborative solution.

The winner of the G4C Future Leader award will be announced at the Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards on the 28th of June at the Royal Lancaster London. For more information or to book tickets, click here.
