Roe have grown from a new player in the timber frame market to become one of the largest in England. They have brought stable full-time employment to an area with a historically high percentage of unemployment and have grown their workforce to over 120 people. The senior management team has remained unchanged since the company was established and between them have a diverse skills and knowledge base of the industry. This has allowed the business to make balanced and calculated investment decisions resulting in a consistent re-investment strategy to ensure that the business has a very strong financial foundation.
They encourage staff to progress within the company by improving their skills and using their experience to improve the customers overall experience. Roe continue to manage their growth, with investment in plant, machinery, haulage fleet IT systems and personnel.
Creating a rewarding work environment where individuals can progress adds a dynamic to the company with a positive attitude to provide solutions to their customers. Many factory employees have progressed to become designers, contracts managers and factory management. Coupled with their recruitment of industry experience over the years, that fit into a work ethic that has assisted the company to grow successfully.
