Tilly Hawkins, a Marketing Manager for Cibes Lift, Titan Elevators and Apex Lifts, has a distinct enthusiasm for marketing within the construction industry. Tilly is a progressive manager and champions the development of females within the sector. Her ability to inspire others and positively impact their behaviour puts her in great stead for the future success she will attain.

Tilly successfully inspires those around her both internally, externally and within her wider community. She is committed to delivering in both her personal and professional development within the marketing and construction industries. She does so by engaging with accredited industry bodies through delivering career talks, mentoring interns, and supporting those around her with her invaluable insights.

Tilly began her career with Apex Lifts as a Service Coordinator back in June 2019, and successively continued her journey through the ropes to Marketing Manager over the sequential three years. Amongst Tilly’s career progression, she completed a three year degree at the University of Greenwich attaining First Class Honours within BA H Advertising and Digital Marketing Communications.

Her journey to becoming a marketing manager was not one of a usual occurrence. Her continued passion for marketing is what lead her to receive the promotion to the position she now attains. Tilly is a forward-thinking manager and continually puts the needs of her team and colleagues above her own. She displays a collaborative approach to learning and can be described as a strategic thinker. This is evident through her ability to delegate and teach others, supporting their consolidation of the industry. Tilly frequently conducts charity work both internally and externally from the workplace, again supporting the needs of the wider community.

She is a force to be reckoned with and a deserving member of the team to achieve success upon her name. Tilly expresses the innate ability to support others within the male-dominated industry construction can be and frequently empowers the females of the workplace through various social value activities. She achieves this through her innovative and creative idea generation, from development stage right through to implementation.

Tilly strives for sustained change, largely through her goal of providing education for all. She is continually on the lookout for innovative ideas to improve the experience of her fellow colleagues, the community, and the environment. She not only represents herself and the organisation, but too promotes the well-being and development of the team she manages.

Tilly is a highly valued member of the organisation both internally and externally, and as such is a brilliant example of what a young leader should look like.

Key achievements:

  • Tilly successfully applied and achieved Planet Mark accreditation for one of the businesses.

  • Tilly is a forward thinker and ensures the excellence of her team.
