How to enter

The Constructing Excellence SECBE Awards 2021 are free to enter & win. Entering is easy!

How to enter:

1. Register / Sign in: click here OR scroll to the top of any page until you see the Register/Sign In buttons.
2. Download your entry forms: in your account area, click 'Download entry forms'.
3. Submit your entry forms: EMAIL your entry forms & supporting files to support@ce-awards.co.uk (Dropbox/WeTransfer etc accepted). Closing date: Mon 15 March 2021.
4. Finalists: announced w/c 12 April 2021.
5. Judging: Weds-Thurs 2-3 June 2021 – via ZOOM interviews. More info
6. Awards Ceremony (pending COVID-19 updates): Virtual Awards Ceremony late afternoon on Thurs 3 June OR Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner on Thurs 1 July 2021 in London. 

Guidance:

• Please read ALL the guidance notes on the entry forms.
• Understanding what the judges are looking for – not sure about some of the wording in the entry forms? Click here for explanations.
• Entering multiple categories – you can enter your project, initiative, or organisation in more than one category BUT please tailor your entry.

• Judging day: all presenting teams should keep the mornings of 2-3 June clear in their diaries.  Exact times TBA in April 2021.

Entry form guidance:

• Entry form:  we only accept entries using the official entry form. We recommend converting your completed entry form from WORD to PDF.
• Entries – word count: anything over the word count will not be scored. Appendices will not be considered.
• Entries – supporting materials: supporting images, graphs, tables etc should be embedded within the document. Short captions added to images are not included in the word count. Links to short videos will be accepted. 
• Images – we love images.
  • Include lower-resolution images in your entry form.
  • In addition, please send us up to 5 high-resolution images of your submission (the project, process, people & the results etc) & we will use these for promotional purposes. These will not form part of your submission for review by the judges.
• Logos – please provide EPS files (or high-quality alternative file formats if not available) of any org/company that is to be credited.

Finer details:

• Clients must be made aware in advance of any entries that refer to them and the judges may require evidence of client endorsement.
• By entering our awards, you’ll be agreeing to allow SECBE & Constructing Excellence to promote your entry & any supporting materials across the UK.
