Luke Turner from Playle & Partners

Within a period of 12 years, Luke has risen through the company from a Trainee Quantity Surveyor on a University Day Release Programme to becoming a Partner of the practice in 2018. Luke leads a highly skilled and experienced team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, helping to deliver projects across London and the South East of England.

Initially trained as a Quantity Surveyor, Luke achieved his MRICS status in 2015. Throughout his career Luke has supplemented his Quantity Surveying experience with performing the role of Project Manager and Employers Agent on numerous public and private sector schemes. Having always shown an aptitude to lead from the front and with exceptional people management skills, Luke achieved his MAPM status with the Association for Project Management last year.

His rise within the company and the leadership that he has shown is why Playle and Partners LLP believe that Luke is on a path to becoming a great leader within the industry, ready to promote greater use of technology and a fair working environment for everyone, and able to utilise experiences from two professions for the betterment of the construction industry.

Highlights:

  • Having joined from a local 6th Form in 2006 Luke has worked his way up through the company from Trainee Quantity Surveyor to Partner.
  • Luke was part of the Playle & Partners LLP team who won the 2018 London & South East Constructing Excellence Award for People Development.
  • At 30 years of age, Luke has achieved both his MRICS and MAPM designations meaning he stands out from his peers.
